You can delete your QuizBytes account and everything stored with it, at any
time, without contacting us.
Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. If you
have QuizBytes Pro, cancel it in the App Store or Google Play before
deleting, or billing continues.
- iPhone / iPad — Settings → your name → Subscriptions → QuizBytes → Cancel Subscription
- Android — Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → QuizBytes → Cancel
Delete from inside the app
- Open QuizBytes and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to Account and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Deletion happens immediately. You will be signed out, and the account cannot be
recovered.
What gets deleted
Everything tied to your account is removed in a single transaction:
- Your profile — email, display name, username, avatar and any optional fields
- All quiz history and the answers you gave
- Progress, scores, streaks, experience and campaign state
- In-app currency balances, badges and medals
- Follows, connections, battle history and invitations
- Your sign-in credentials
What we cannot delete
- Purchase records held by Apple or Google. Those are their
records of a transaction, not ours. Contact them if you need those removed.
- Backups held by our hosting provider rotate on their own
schedule. They are never used to restore a deleted account.
If you cannot sign in
If you have lost access to your account and cannot delete it yourself, email us
from the address the account was registered with and we will delete it for you.
We will confirm once it is done, and in any case within 30 days.
