Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of QuizBytes, a quiz and learning app published by ByteBrew IT. By using the app you agree to them.

Your account

You need an account to use QuizBytes. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity on your account. Give accurate information when you sign up, and do not impersonate anyone else.

One person, one account. Do not share an account, and do not create accounts to evade a suspension.

Acceptable use

Do not:

• Cheat, automate play, or manipulate scores, streaks, currency or leaderboards
• Reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the app or its servers
• Scrape, copy or redistribute the question content
• Harass other players, or choose an offensive display name or username
• Use the app in a way that breaks the law where you live

We may suspend or remove an account that does any of these.

Purchases and subscriptions

QuizBytes offers optional paid content and a Pro subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play, not by us — we never see your payment details.

• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
• Cancel any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not shorten the period you have already paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their policies, not by us. If a purchase went wrong, contact them first — and tell us too, so we can fix whatever caused it.
• Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel first, then delete.

Content and accuracy

We work to keep quiz content correct and to cite sources where a fact could be checked. Even so, questions may contain errors, and content changes over time. QuizBytes is for learning and entertainment. Do not rely on it as professional, medical, legal or certification advice, and do not treat it as a substitute for an official exam syllabus.

If you spot an incorrect question, report it from inside the app so we can fix it.

Our content

The app, its questions, artwork and design are owned by ByteBrew IT or its licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app. That licence does not let you copy, resell or republish the content.

Availability

We aim to keep QuizBytes running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change, and content may be added or removed. If we discontinue a paid feature you have an active subscription to, we will say so in advance.

Ending your use

You can stop at any time by deleting your account — see Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms.

Liability

QuizBytes is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, ByteBrew IT is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when. If a change matters to you materially, we will notify you in the app.
